Only safe examined by time algorithms are used in "SafeDisk" to encrypt
the information. All algorithms (except RSC) are used in CBC mode. While
creating safe disk it's filled with random values to exclude the possibility
of plain-text attack.

Developed by NSA to replace DES in 1991. It hasn't been published

There is the comparative information about speed of response of virtual
disks made by different programs in table below. Hardware/software, which
has been used while testing: P200/64RAM/HDD Fujitsu MPF3204AT 20G/Windows98;
HDD Benchmark (SiSoft Sandra'99 Pro). Windows cache hasn't been used.
Disk exchange speed - 5 Mb/sec. Values in the table describe disk exchange
speed (Mb/sec) for encrypted virtual disks combined with different programs/algorithms.
